With a name like Granatelli you gotta be good, especially when you want to be a race car driver.  Following in the footsteps of his father and grandfather, Vincenzo has shown true athletic prowess in every sport he has attempted and automobile racing is no different. Vincenzo has quickly made a name for himself in his own form of racing – Off Road Trophy Karts at the J1 level.

As new member of the Granatelli Motor Sports Racing stable, Vincenzo is proud to wear Orange and Purple for his main sponsor FedEx. But don’t think Vincenzo just stepped into this ride.  His position was earned not given.  After several successful races wearing Granatelli Green, Red and White, Vincenzo grabbed the watchful eye of some pretty big names in the racing world.

Championship Off Road Racing with the help of MMR and Newline launched Trophy Kart as a sort of half time show for the fans.  It wasn’t long before Trophy Kart stole the show and now Trophy kart has grown into 3 different distinct racing series with CORR being the crown jewel series. 

Sponsors like ROCKSTAR Energy Drink, RedLine Racing Oil, Comp Cams and Balls Out Motor Sports have all jumped on board to be strong supporters of Vincenzo as he bids for the 2007  J1 Trophy Kart Championship. 

Vincenzo has quickly become a top ten contender and continues to draw the lions share of press with his energetic personality and charisma.  Waiving the flag for FedEx and his other supporters his 2007 Newline built Ford truck body has been eating up the tracks no matter how big or small. Powering his truck is Fleming Racing Engine sealed spec Subaru motor.

“I’m honored to be a part of Team FedEx - Granatelli Motor Sports” explains Vincenzo.  “With lots of hard work and a focus determination, I not only plan to put my FedEx truck in the winner’s circle many times this year, but I plan to take home the championship.”  In closing, Vincenzo added, “This year my brother JoJo and I dedicate our season of racing to our mentor and grandfather Joe Granatelli Sr., without his help, guidance and expert knowledge we wouldn’t be were we are today- and that’s a fact".
